Bakhtawar Bhutto supports Reham Khan against bullying

A woman heckled Reham while she was giving an interview in a UK park

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 8th August, 2018) Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, the daughter of former president and Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, has extended support to Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan after she was heckled by an unknown woman during an interview at a park in the United Kingdom.

“All the video did was made me a fan of @RehamKhan1 for being so patient & tolerating troll harassment,” Bakhtawar tweeted.

"The PTI supporter should spend less time harassing another woman & stop leader worshipping someone who has been aggressively against women rights and pro Taliban justice," she added.

PPP's Sherry Rehman also called it a shameful and obnoxious act.

The tweets came after two videos went viral on social media which showed a woman heckling Reham while she gave an interview.

In the first video, the woman can be heard asking Reham personal questions regarding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and his current wife, Bushra Maneka. However, Reham remains calm throughout the episode and answers the questions politely. Meanwhile, the second video captures Reham’s son attempting to defend his mother and the interviewer is seen apologising to Imran's ex-wife.

Tweeting about the video, Reham said to the woman, “Lots of love darling 🤗 Can't give up. It's a crusade for me. If I want to have a picnic in the park. They can like it or lump it!”

In another tweet, she said, “We tweeted it almost 10 days before our so called media channels break this nonsense.”

Bakhtawar has earlier targeted PTI as well when she said that PTI would lose more if the recounting of votes were permitted as per law and counting was made public.

“If recounts were permitted as per law & counting made public PTI would lose a lot more. Forcibly stopped count where voting changed significantly after only 10 polling stations. The rigging has been so open & obvious it’s almost hilarious - instead an outright insult to voters,” she wrote.
