NAB Rawalpindi is investigating Bukhari over offshore companies.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 8th August, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s close friend Zulfi Bukhari’s name has been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to local media, the Interior Ministry has placed Bukhari’s name on the ECL upon National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) request. The cabinet committee had approved placing his name on the ECL.

On July 6, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had ordered to remove Zulfi Bukhari's name from the blacklist, ending travel restrictions on him.
Earlier, Zulfi Bukhari was not allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia in last week of Ramzan as he accompanied Khan and his wife for Umrah. According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) sources, Bukhari was set to fly to Saudi Arabia from Rawalpindi via a chartered flight along with Khan and his wife when he was asked to disembark as his name was placed on the ECL. However, Khan managed to take Bukhari along with him for Umrah after a phone call, following which Bukhari’s name was removed from the blacklist.
