Says she wants to prove that women can also work like men
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 7th August, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA-elect Zartaj Gul has said that she has come out of the tribal region to bring a change in the system and she wants to prove that women can also work like men.
In an interview with a local tv channel, she said that she is not a coward or hypocrite and she will play her part in changing Pakistan.
Zartaj Gul further said that she has a warrior’s nature as she belongs to tribal area. She said that she got most of the votes because of her speeches. She further said that South Punjab and Waziristan are backward areas.
She recalled that Imran Khan had told her the very first day that she is very brave and she will go a long way.
"People call me their daughter and even name their daughters after me because of my passion," Gul added.
The MNA-elect added that Imran Khan is not someone who bends down and he will protect the Pakistani money.
Regarding protocol, she said that she does not need any protocol and will see the situation of her area by driving herself.
Zartaj Gul had won election from National Assembly constituency NA-191 Dera Ghazi Khan by securing 79,817 votes against Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari who stood second by getting 54,548 votes.
