Tharparkar (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Grand Democratic Alliance candidate Abdul Razzaque has won PS-54 with 25955 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Grand Democratic Alliance candidate won in PS-54 Tharparkar-I constituency with 25955 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate ABDUL KARIM SOOMRO was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 35444 votes.
The second runner up was Independent candidate SYED SHABBIR HYDER SHAH who got 6534 votes. At least 20 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-54. In 2013 elections, there were 102992 voters registered in PS-54, out of which 60777 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 59.01 %.
