Mirpur Khas (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has won PS-48 with 38097 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in PS-48 Mirpur Khas-II constituency with 38097 votes. In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Zubair Ahmed Khan was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 89666 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Rajab Ali who got 4091 votes. At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PS-48. In 2013 elections, there were 157905 voters registered in PS-48, out of which 99486 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 63 %.
