Okara (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Ali Abbas has won PP-187 with 44505 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-187 Okara-V constituency with 44505 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Syed Raza Ali Gillani was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 60717 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Jahan Aara Wattoo who got 17757 votes. At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-187. In 2013 elections, there were 151054 voters registered in PP-187, out of which 89543 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 58.77 %.
