Umerkot (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Nawab Muhammad Yousuf Talpur has won NA-220 with 162979 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate won in NA-220 Umerkot constituency with 162979 votes. In 2013 general elections, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan candidate Syed Waseem Hussain was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 135886 votes.
The second runner up was Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan (Noorani) candidate Abul khair Mohammad Zubair who got 10990 votes. At least 12 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-220. In 2013 elections, there were 274281 voters registered in NA-220, out of which 164656 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 60.03 %.
