Layyah (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Abdul Majeed Khan has won NA-187 with 93903 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-187 Layyah-l constituency with 93903 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League candidate Tariq Bashir Cheema was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 92972 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Saud Majeed who got 88872 votes. At least 11 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-187. In 2013 elections, there were 282844 voters registered in NA-187, out of which 190232 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 67.26 %.
