Gujrat (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Syed Faiz ul Hassan has won NA-70 with 95168 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-70 Gujrat-IIl constituency with 95168 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MALIK SHAKIR BASHIR AWAN was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 94594 votes.
The second runner up was Independent candidate SARDAR SHUJJA MUHAMMAD KHAN who got 64885 votes. At least 8 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-70. In 2013 elections, there were 343920 voters registered in NA-70, out of which 215424 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 62.64 %.
