Chitral (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate Hidayat ur Rehman has won PK-1 with 45629 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal Pakistan candidate won in PK-1 Chitral constituency with 45629 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate ZIA ULLAH AFRIDI was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 22932 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (J) candidate MUHAMMAD NADEEM who got 6907 votes. At least 26 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PK-1. In 2013 elections, there were 127437 voters registered in PK-1, out of which 54401 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 42.69 %.
