Bahawalnagar (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Shoukat Ali Laleka has won PP-238 with 47192 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PP-238 Bahawalnagar-II constituency with 47192 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Asif Saeed manais was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 46474 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Ali Raza Khan Khakwani who got 29223 votes.
At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-238. In 2013 elections, there were 158206 voters registered in PP-238, out of which 102549 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 64.820 %.
