Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rai Muhammad Murtaza Iqbal has won PP-201 with 66083 votes.
Sahiwal (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Rai Muhammad Murtaza Iqbal has won PP-201 with 66083 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-201 Sahiwal-VI constituency with 66083 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Malik Mazhar Abbas Ran was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 35233 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Makhdoom Mureed Hussain Qureshi who got 25118 votes. At least 9 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-201. In 2013 elections, there were 152663 voters registered in PP-201, out of which 93046 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 60.95 %.
