Kasur (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sheikh Alla Uddin has won PP-178 with 37320 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-178 Kasur-V constituency with 37320 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MALIK AHMAD SAEED KHAN was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 34335 votes.
The second runner up was Independent candidate SHAHID MASOOD ALI who got 17815 votes. At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-178. In 2013 elections, there were 146464 voters registered in PP-178, out of which 90966 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 62 %.
