Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Omar Ayub Khan has won NA-17 with 172609 votes.
Haripur (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Omar Ayub Khan has won NA-17 with 172609 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-17 Haripur constituency with 172609 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Dr Muhammad Azhar Khan Jadoon was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 96549 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan who got 69721 votes. At least 10 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-17. In 2013 elections, there were 338273 voters registered in NA-17, out of which 191061 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 56.48 %.
