Swat (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Haider Ali Khan has won NA-2 with 61687 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-2 Swat-I constituency with 61687 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Hamid Ul Haq was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 79125 votes. The second runner up was Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (F) candidate Muhammad Saeed Jan who got 18787 votes.
At least 17 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-2. In 2013 elections, there were 336122 voters registered in NA-2, out of which 142031 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 43.45 %.
