Rawalpindi (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Aamir Mehmood Kiani has won NA-61 with 105000 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in NA-61 Rawalpindi-V constituency with 105000 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate SARDAR MUMTAZ KHAN was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 114282 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Muslim League candidate CH PARVEZ ELAHI who got 99373 votes. At least 13 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-61. In 2013 elections, there were 443677 voters registered in NA-61, out of which 272744 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 61 %.
