Mandi Bahauddin (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Independent candidate Hameeda Mian has won PP-65 with 72374 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Independent candidate won in PP-65 Mandi Bahauddin-I constituency with 72374 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Haji Muhammad Ilyas Ansari was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 64645 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians candidate Raja Riaz Ahmed who got 17571 votes.
At least 26 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-65. In 2013 elections, there were 177078 voters registered in PP-65, out of which 103647 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 58.53 %.
