Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUHAMMAD TOUFEEQ BUTT has won PP-56 with 47375 votes.
Gujranwala (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate MUHAMMAD TOUFEEQ BUTT has won PP-56 with 47375 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-56 Gujranwala-VI constituency with 47375 votes. In 2013 general elections, Independent candidate Rai Muhamamd Usman Khan Kharal was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 24906 votes.
The second runner up was Independent candidate Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan Jatoi who got 22404 votes. At least 16 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-56. In 2013 elections, there were 149922 voters registered in PP-56, out of which 90814 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 60.57 %.
