Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Basharat Raja has won PP-14 with 54098 votes.
Rawalpindi (Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Basharat Raja has won PP-14 with 54098 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate won in PP-14 Rawalpindi-IX constituency with 54098 votes. In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Raja Abdul Hanif was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 36852 votes.
The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Chaudhry Muhammad Asghar advocate who got 32684 votes. At least 19 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-14. In 2013 elections, there were 147837 voters registered in PP-14, out of which 84365 votes were polled out. In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 57.07 %.
