MoU signed to empower Children of Determination

A memorandum of understanding has been signed by Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO) and Al Jalila Foundation to ramp up collaboration on integrating Children of Determination into the society as part of the Ta’alouf programme.

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 23rd Jul, 2018) A memorandum of understanding has been signed by Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO) and Al Jalila Foundation to ramp up collaboration on integrating Children of Determination into the society as part of the Ta’alouf programme.

Ta’alouf is Al Jalila Foundation's flagship community programme dedicated to supporting carers of children with special needs to enhance their quality of life and the memo is aimed at providing parents and caretakers of Children of Determination with the essential tools needed to help them manage the conduct of their kids.

Ta’alouf, which means ‘harmony’ in Arabic, is aimed at working in unison with strategic partners, parents, educators and the wider community to empower children with disabilities.

The memo was signed by Abdullah Abdulali Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of the ZHO, and Dr. Raja Al Gurg, Chairperson of the board of Directors of Al Jalila Foundation.

Al Jalila Foundation is a non-profit organisation whose mandate is to promote the UAE as a centre of excellence for medical research and education.
