DED-Ajman signs agreement to implement new e-link services

The Department of Economic Development - Ajman (DED-Ajman) and the emirate's Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation announced the signing of a new partnership agreement aimed at adopting and implementing new e-link services.

AJMAN, (Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2018) The Department of Economic Development - Ajman (DED-Ajman) and the emirate's Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation announced the signing of a new partnership agreement aimed at adopting and implementing new e-link services.

The services, which are part of the ongoing 'Single Window Project,' will provide customers with a faster and more efficient way to apply and renew economic permits and licences. Ali Eissa Al Nuaimi, Director General, DED-Ajman and Yafea Eid Al Faraj, Director General, Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation signed the agreement.

According to Al Nuaimi, the newly signed partnership demonstrates the importance that DED-Ajman has placed in the move to reinforce cooperation with Federal and local government agencies, which complements the current efforts to adopt a culture of excellence and leadership in government work in line with the goals and objectives of Ajman Vision 2021.

He added this cooperation will pave the way to provide world class government services that support the path towards economic development through the move to increase the level of confidence in the investment environment and enhancing the competitive capabilities of the business community; consolidating Ajman’s move to become one of the most attractive destinations for investment locally and regionally.

Al Faraj commented, "Our partnership with DED-Ajman is a step forward in the journey to achieve full government integration and help improve the quality of services provided to the public, which will reflect positively on our government performance. The new cooperation demonstrates the shared commitment between these two agencies and the efforts to effect an electronic transformation, which falls in line with our promise to provide everything to ensure customer happiness following the directives of our wise leadership."

As part of the agreement, both sides will work to improve the quality of services provided and ensure high efficiency results, with a focus on ensuring continuity of service delivery and its non-interruption under any possible circumstances. The two departments are looking to increase customer satisfaction by expanding channels of communication electronically via the proposed e-link, as well exchanging information and data related to license services and economic permits.
