Daniyal Bilour sat on the top of the ambulance and raised slogans ‘Zinda hai Bilour zinda hai’
Peshawar (Pakistan Point News – 11th July, 2018) The picture of the son of Haroon Bilour, who was killed in Peshawar blast last night, has gone viral on social media.
In the picture, Haroon Bilour’s son Daniyal Bilour is sitting on the ambulance carrying his father’s dead body.
Earlier, there were reports that Daniyal is also killed in the blast; however, these reports proved to be wrong.
The picture captured Daniyal Bilour sitting on the top of the ambulance and raising slogans of ‘Zinda hai Bilour zinda hai’ (Bilour is alive).
Daniyal is being praised for the courage and bravery.
Talking to media, the son said that he used to stand by his father in the public meetings. He said that he feels sad that he was not with his father in Yakatoot when the blast took place as he had to go somewhere else.
At least 20 people were killed and 62 others were injured as a suicide bomber blew himself up at an election rally of ANP at Yaka Toot area of the city.
The blast also claimed the life of Haroon Bilour, candidate of ANP for PK-78.
Following the attack, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed election on the provincial assembly seat PK-78.
According to ECP, new date for holding election in this constituency will be announced later.
