Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 9th July, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has appointed religious scholar and accused in Qandeel Baloch murder case Mufti Abdul Qavi as his adviser for religious affairs.

According to 92 News, Mufti Qavi said that he called on the PTI chairman at his Bani Gala residence upon his wish. Following the meeting, Imran Khan has appointed him as his adviser for religious affairs, the news channel and thier website reported.

A three-member committee, including Mufti Qavi, Arshad Dad and Umari Shaukat, has been formed to visit the Constituencies where some of the PTI members are estranged.

Mufti Qavi said that the committee will meet and pacify these estranged friends. He further said that his meeting with Imran Khan lasted for half an hour at a special room in Bani Gala.

The mufti said that Khan has handed over some important responsibilities and assured him that he will be a part of PTI’s upcoming government, the news channel reported him as saying.

The PTI officials have not yet confirmed the development.

However, the decision is being criticized as Mufti Qavi is nominated in Qandeel Baloch murder case.
