ADEN, (Pakistan Point News - 05th Jul, 2018) The Director of the Emirates Red Crescent in Aden Saeed Al Ali, on Wednesday met with the Yemeni Minister of Culture Marwan Damaj.
During the meeting - held at the ERC's headquarters in Aden - the two sides discussed joint cooperation for the reconstruction of cultural facilities, such as theatres and libraries, in the country's temporary capital, Aden.
The Yemeni Minister expressed his delight at his first-time visit to the ERC offices during which he also learned about the authority's activities in various liberated Yemeni provinces.
Damaj said the ministry is eager to cooperate with the ERC in organising cultural events that will contribute to "normalising life for Yemeni citizens in the difficult circumstances they are experiencing."
At the end of the meeting, Al Ali presented the Yemeni Minister with the 'Shield of Brotherhood and Loyalty.'
