Twitterati extends support to Patari team stepping down over sexual harassment controversy

There were rumors that former Patari CEO Khalid Bajwa accused of sexually harassing young women has been reinstated

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 1st July, 2018) The core team of renowned music streaming app Patari has resigned after rumours that former CEO Khalid Bajwa accused of sexually harassing young women has been reinstated.

Earlier this year, a few women shared screenshots on Twitter, suggesting that Patari CEO Khalid Bajwa Patari has been sexually harassing and stalking young women.

Following the allegations, Khalid Bajwa stepped down as Patari’s CEO and Ahmer Naqvi was made the interim CEO. However, Naqvi and other team members took to social media and announced his resignation over ‘loss of values’ at the company.

Following the resignations, Twitterati came out to support the team for their decision and called out on Khalid Bajwa.
