Members of religious party allegedly attack Aamir Liaquat in Karachi

Aamir Liaquat has filed a complaint in PIB police station

Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 30th June, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and tv scholar Aamir Liaquat was allegedly attacked by members of a religious party in Karachi on Saturday.

According to details, Liaquat was attacked by religious party members in PIB area of Karachi.

The son of former Federal minister Zaheer Nadeem Akram, Zubair Akram was also injured in the attack.

Following the attack, Liaquat filed a complaint in PIB police station.

According to the police, investigations into attack on Liaquat are being held. A case will be registered after taking the statements of eye witnesses, police said.

Earlier in April, a mob attacked TV personality and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aamir Liaquat Hussain in Azizabad area of Karachi.

However, Liaquat was safely shifted from the site.
