The video of the reporter reporting from a swimming pool has gone viral on social media
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 30th June, 2018) Lahore has been receiving heavy rains since Tuesday night.
As pre-monsoon rains hit the city and its surrounding vicinities, electricity feeders got tripped causing a power outage. This left the citizens in great ordeal. Further adding to the suffering were the flooded roads. WASA has remained unsuccessful to remove the accumulated water, causing difficulties for the people to move around.
The video of a reporter of a local tv channel has gone viral on social media who prepared a report after placing a swimming pool in the flooded area of Lahore.
Since there was no way for the pedestrians to walk on the flooded street, the reporter made his report by sitting in a swimming pool.
The reporter said that WASA has remained failed to perform its job while its machinery is also not working properly.
