Bahraini delegation reviews community security, safety efforts of ADP

A delegation from the Ministry of Interior of Bahrain reviewed the efforts and practices of the Abu Dhabi Police, ADP, in the area of community security and safety, as well as the working mechanisms of its "Police Follow-up and Post Care Department," its social support duties, and its efforts to solve social issues and care for juveniles.

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2018) A delegation from the Ministry of Interior of Bahrain reviewed the efforts and practices of the Abu Dhabi Police, ADP, in the area of community security and safety, as well as the working mechanisms of its "Police Follow-up and Post Care Department," its social support duties, and its efforts to solve social issues and care for juveniles.

Brigadier Ahmed Masoud Al Mazrouei, Director of the Police Follow-up and Post-Care Department, and the Bahraini delegation, headed by Colonel Abdullah Rashid Burashid, Director of the Community Service Police Department, discussed their cooperation ties, with the attendance of Colonel Saif Mohammed Al Dahmani, Deputy Director of the Department, and several officers.

The delegation learned about the department’s organisational structure, tasks, services and specialisations, as well as its traffic point reduction programmes, post-care procedures, and its means of implementing vocational training programmes and facilitating access to its services, to achieve the community’s happiness and maintain their security and safety.

Colonel Burashid expressed his admiration for the ADP’s development and advancement in the areas of security and social cohesion, as well as for its traffic point reduction programmes and the post-care assistance it provides to those released, using the latest devices and technologies.

He also praised the ADP’s highly-qualified personnel while affirming the importance of continuing their cooperation and benefiting from the ADP’s expertise and best practices.

The delegation was also introduced to work and standards of the Social Support Centres Department of the ADP’s Community Security Sector.

The meeting witnessed a discussion on the means of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise while the delegation toured the ADP’s internal facilities and learned about the services and care it offers to juveniles. Its members expressed their admiration for the ADP’s experience in caring for and serving juveniles.

The meeting was attended by several ADP officers, as well as Corporal Mohammed Ali Qaid Ali and Yacoub Abdullah Al Dosari from the Community Service Department in Bahrain.
