The resignation has been accepted by Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasir-ul-Mulk.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 27th June, 2018) National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasser Khan Janjua has resigned from his post on Wednesday.
This was confirmed by the national security spokesman who said that Nasser Janjua has resigned as the national security adviser.
His resignation has been accepted by Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasir-ul-Mulk.
Nasser Janjua is a retired three-star rank general of Pakistan Army. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) government had appointed him as the national security adviser. He was replaced by Sartaj Aziz and had been serving as the national security adviser since October 23, 2015.
