London (Pakistan Point News – 25th June, 2018) Several physical organs of ailing former first lady Begum Kulsoom Nawaz have stopped functioning.
According to Kulsoom Nawaz’s medical report received to media, her kidneys are not working. She is undergoing a kidney therapy and has been removed from antibiotics.
Earlier, there were reports that Kulsoom’s condition has got better in the last three days and she is also taking food.
The wife of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, was shifted to intensive care unit (ICU) of a London hospital after her condition further deteriorated on June 14.
Sources said that Begum Kulsoom collapsed in the ICU after a cardiac arrest, and has not since regained consciousness. She has been kept on ventilator, life-support machine and emergency medicine.
The Sharif family has requested everyone to pray for Kulsoom Nawaz’s health.
Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz are also in London as they were allowed by the court to visit the former first lady and then given four-day exemption.
Nawaz Sharif said that he would to return to Pakistan after the recovery of his wife, whose health condition is still critical and is on a ventilator.
