Alpuri, (Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2018) : Two labourers died when a portion coalmine collapse here on Monday. Search for bodies in progress. Rescue sources said that a portion of coalmine located in Shangla caved in when the labourers were engaged in routine work. Two labourers were trapped under the debris and died in the incident. It will take at least two days to recover the bodies from the rubble, the rescue sources said. The labourers held protest demonstration against the poor security arrangements for the coalminers as more than 100 miners have died during last one year. The protestors demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take the notice of the deaths of coalmine labourers and direct the authorities concerned for ensure preventive measures for the labourers working in various coalmines.
