One killed, six injured as Army helicopter crashes in Quetta

The injured have been shifted to CMH for treatment.

Quetta (Pakistan Point News – 7th June, 2018) At least six people have been injured as an Army helicopter crash landed in Quetta on Thursday.

According to media reports, the helicopter was coming from Kohlu to Quetta when it crashed near Eastern Bypass Industrial area of Quetta.

According to Quetta DIG, at least six persons have been injured in the crash. The injured have been shifted to CMH Hospital for treatment.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that an injured Frontier Corps (FC) official was being brought to Quetta from Kohlu in the helicopter.

The FC official was killed in the helicopter crash while the pilot and other personnel remained safe, the ISPR said.

The rescue teams reached to the site of the crash and started rescue activities.
