The district administration arrested 30 people for over charging the customers and encroachments during operation in the provincial capital on Wednesday.
Peshawar, (Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2018) : The district administration arrested 30 people for over charging the customers and encroachments during operation in the provincial capital on Wednesday. In line with the directives of DC Peshawar, Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh, the district administration team conducted operations at Circular Road and Charsadda Road. During operations, the district administration team detained 30 involved in overcharging the customers and for encroachments. The detainees included butchers, fruit and vegetable vendours, general store owners and others. The DC has also warned others to ensure sale of commodities at the rates fixed by the administration avoid encroachments, or get ready for legal action.
