Shawwal moon less likely to be sighted on 29 Ramadan

Eid-ul-Fitr will likely be on June 16, according to this prediction.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 5th June, 2018) The Meteorological Department has made a prediction about sighting of Shawwal moon.

According to Met office, scientifically, Shawwal moon is less likely to be sighted on 29 Ramadan.

The Met office has sent details regarding the age of Shawwal crescent to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

According to the Met office, the Shawwal crescent will be born on June 14 at 12:45am. The crescent could be seen on the sky for 39 minutes after the sunset. The age of the moon will be 19 minutes 3 minutes after the sunset.

Eid-ul-Fitr will likely be on June 16, according to this prediction. In case the moon is sighted on 29 Ramzan, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on June 15.
