Six-member federal cabinet takes oath

President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath to the members of federal cabinet.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 5th June, 2018) The six-member Federal cabinet of caretaker Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasir-ul-Mulk has taken oath today.

The oath-taking ceremony was held in President House, Islamabad.

The six-member cabinet includes Shamshad Akhtar, Roshan Khursheed Baroncha, Abdullah Hussain Haroon, Muhammad Yousaf Sheikh, Muhammad Azam Khan and Syed Ali Zafar.

President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath to the members of federal cabinet. Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasir-ul-Mulk was also present on the occasion.

Justice (r) Nasir-ul-Mulk took oath as caretaker prime minister of the country on June 1 in an oath-taking ceremony held in President House on Friday.

The government completed its democratic term on May 31. Following this, a caretaker set-up has been put in which will be responsible to run the country’s affairs and holding the next general elections.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced holding general elections on July 25.
