Dubai Police receive over 150,000 calls since beginning of Ramadan

DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 31st May, 2018) The Dubai Police's Control and Command Centre has received 154,491 calls from the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Colonel Turki bin Fares, Director of the Centre, said the traffic notification service received 3,973 calls for minor accidents. He said speeding was the main reason behind the road accidents before breakfast time and urged motorists to maintain a safe distance between vehicles and exercise extra care while driving.

''Dubai Police will continue its awareness campaigns to educate motorists and members of the public about traffic safety,'' he added.
