PEMRA had earlier banned the TV host for 30 days
Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 29th May, 2018) tv host and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain was recently banned for fueling sectarian debate during his Ramzan transmission.
However, the administration of social media website Facebook has also deleted Dr Aamir Liaquat’s page after being reported several times, according to recent reports.
The social media users had criticized the TV host for fueling religious sentiments and sparking sectarian debate during his Ramzan show ‘Ramzan mein Bol’ on Bol TV.
Taking action over the content of the show, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) banned Liaquat for 30 days under Section 27 of PEMRA Ordinance 2012.
