According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 61% Pakistanis prefer sitting down at the table for eating

Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 61% Pakistanis prefer sitting down at the table for eating. 35% say floor seating. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Today the tradition of eating & drinking formally on the dining table has increased in the society. Some people sit on the dining table to eat while others prefer eating from plates laid on the floor. Please tell me whether you personally prefer being seated at the dining table or on the floor for eating?” In response to this question, 61% said they prefer dining table and 35% said they prefer floor seating. 4% did not know or did not wish to respond.
