According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 2 Pakistanis (52%) support the Supreme Court’s verdict on lifetime disqualification for dishonesty under Article 62
Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 16th May, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 2 Pakistanis (52%) support the Supreme Court’s verdict on lifetime disqualification for dishonesty under Article 62. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people support the Supreme Court’s verdict which states that anybody who is not honest, upright and truthful is disqualified for lifetime, while some others do not support it. Do you support it or not?” In response to this question, 52% said they support the verdict and 37% said do not support it. 11% did not know or wish to respond.
