Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2018) : Islamabad Khanna and Sihala police stations arrested 11 street criminals and recovered one vehicle, three bikes, weapons and other valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said. According to details, SSP (Operations) Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi assigned the task to SP (Rural) Hassam bin Iqbal to ensure arrests of those involved in street crime. He constituted special teams under supervision of ASP Sihala Ahmed Arsalan which included DSP Raja Tahir Hussain, SHO Khanna police station Sub-Inspector Liaqat Ali, ASIs Naseer Ahmed, Sajid, Iftikhar Ahmed, Muhammad Nawaz, Ghulam Rasool and Constables Qasim, Badar Shafique, Umer and others.
Teams of Khanna police arrested Hasnain, Shah Mir, Zeeshan, Waseem, Qasim, Qadeer Shafi, Faheem and Irfan alias Chota besides recovery of three motorbikes, five 30 bore pistols, 14 mobile phones, two computers, two LCDs and other items from them. A total of five cases have been registered against these criminals at Khanna police station. Likewise, a team of Sihala police arrested Khursheed, Abdul Ghafoor and Bakht Ali alias Haji from Pathan Colony and recovered one vehicle, three pistols and other valuables from their possession.
One of the accused Abdul Ghafoor had remained a jail bird for his involvement in a dacoity case at Loi Bher police station. Further investigation is underway from them after registration of cases. SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to intensify vigilance against anti-social elements.
