Female journalists condemn Rana Sanaullah’s misogynistic remarks about PTI women

They call to boycott all such misogynistic politicians and public figures

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 1st May, 2018) The Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leaders are targeting the women who attended Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Minar-e-Pakistan public meeting.

The remarks made by PMLN leaders Rana Sanaullah and Abid Sher Ali are particularly being condemned.

Female journalists have also come out to condemn such misogynistic statements. Renowned tv anchor Rabia Anam has said in her tweet that she will boycott interviewing Abid Sher Ali, Rana Sanaullah and all such misogynist creeps if they don’t publicly apologise.

She urged all female anchors and journalists to boycott them, saying, “Enough is enough”.

Responding to this tweet, another journalist Mehr Tarar has called out to boycott all misogynostic politicians from all parties along with celebrities or any public figure.

Remarking about Rana Sana’s misogynistic statements, TV anchor Gharidah Farooqi said, “Absolutely disgusting remarks by Rana Sanaullah! Manifold. Not just that he lamely tried to mock respectable PTI women but also the analogy he used is lame - only shows a sick, misogynist mentality. He must apologise!”
