Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 27th Apr, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan allegedly poses foreign residency.
Senior journalist Azhar Javaid has said on micro-blogging website Twitter that sources confirm Imran Khan also has British indefinite leave to remain known as permanent residency.
He added that he enjoys full rights here. “It is much more powerful status than Iqama as Iqama is for defined period and settlement is for lifetime. Can he be disqualified of this reason?” he asked.
The Supreme Court had disqualified for life former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for holding an Iqama while the Islamabad High Court disqualified former foreign minister Khawaja Asif on the same basis.
