Says the vote belongs to Nawaz Sharif.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 27th Apr, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) senior leader Khawaja Asif has said that he would be happy if his son contests elections from his seat.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) had disqualified Asif under Article 62-1(f) for being an employee to a foreign company and holding an Iqama.
Talking to a private tv channel after disqualification, Asif said that he is made to let go off his Ministry but somebody will definitely contest elections from his seat as the vote belongs to Nawaz Sharif.
He said that he would be happy if his son is interested in politics and he contests elections on his behalf. “I came after my father and we both won 12 elections,” he recalled.
Those happy for taking my wicket should know that this wicket is not taken by votes, he said.
