Journalist reveals SDPI provided a platform to Iqbal to criticize the judiciary
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 26th Apr, 2018) Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal had criticized Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar at a recent event.
Commenting on this, renowned journalist Rauf Klasra said that the seminar where Iqbal made a speech against the chief justice was organized by an NGO named Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI).
Dr. Abid Sulehri belonging to this NGO provided a platform to Iqbal to criticize the judiciary. All of its credit goes to the government as it would have sure been behind the seminar, Klasra said, and added that the chief justice should take an action against Sulehri as to where he gets his funding from.
The responsibility of the attack on judiciary lies on Sulehri and his staff, the journalist said.
While giving a speech at the seminar, the interior minister had said that this is enough chief, we also have some dignity.
We have the same dignity as a judge or a soldier has. Nobody has the authority to taunt us.
