Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 2 Pakistanis (51%) claim they cast their vote in the constituency where they live; 38% go back to their ancestral home. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Where do people who live in this neighborhood go to vote?” In response, 38% said they go back to their city or village where their vote is registered and 51% said they remain in the area and cast their vote for this constituency. 11% did not know or wish to respond.
