The driver locked the car and threatened to take her to his brother
Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 21st Apr, 2018) People prefer online taxi services Uber and Careem for travelling around the city. However, one tv actress and model shared her experience with Careem in a Facebook post.
Nazish Jahangir Khan said that she had an awful incident yesterday as a person named Mishal Khan came to pick her up. When she sat in the car, the driver said, “You could have come forward by walking a little, we are not your servants.”
She was shocked at driver’s attitude but she was getting late for work so she asked him what’s wrong with him and continue to drive. He then started shouting at her and used abusive language. She asked him to stop the car on Seaview but he locked the car and said he will take her to his brother.
“I pulled down the mirror and start screaming. My friend who lives in Seaview was out on signal. He saw me and tried to stop him but driver crossed his car and near Burger King, he stopped the car and ran away towards Dolmen Mall,” Nazish said.
The model said that she called 15. The police came but the driver did not come back for three hours.
She said that it is not about just a guy misbehaving with her, it is more than that as he put her safety in danger. “He tried to kidnap me and terrorise me. It ruined my trust on Careem. They shouldn’t hire such uninformed people,” she further said.
