Journalist says Imran should not think that he will be made a majority prime minister
Lahore (Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2018) Veteran journalist Nusrat Javed has said that the demand of dissident Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leaders to form a separate South Punjab Province will hurt Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan the most. Eight lawmakers belonging to the ruling PMLN had announced their resignations at a press conference yesterday and working for the establishment of separate South Punjab Province from the platform of ‘South Punjab Mahaaz’. The leaders who resigned include former state minister for foreign affairs Khusro Bakhtiar, MNA Tariq Iqbal, MNA Muhammad Qasim, MNA Basit Bukhari, Sardar Dareshak, Saleem Ullah Chaudhry, Alam Dar Laleka and Syed Asghar Ali Shah. Commenting on this development, the journalist said that everybody is saying that the group will hurt Imran Khan and Shehbaz Sharif because if these estranged leaders wanted to upset Nawaz Sharif, they should have joined PTI. But if somebody has to worry from this situation, it should be Imran Khan and he should not keep an impression that anybody wants to make him a majority prime minister.
