A rally was carried out by the fans of West-Indian cricketer Darren Sammy in Peshawar on Friday
Peshawar (Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2018 ) A rally was carried out by the fans of West-Indian cricketer Darren Sammy in Peshawar on Friday. The fans demanded that Sammy should again be included in the West Indian cricket team. According to details, the young cricketers of Peshawar held this rally out of love for Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Darren Sammy. The cricketers expressed solidarity for Sammy as he is not being included in the cricket team of West Indies.
The rally started from Gymkhana ground and concluded at Gymkhana gate after passing through several routes. The participants of the rally held placards in their hands. Slogans in favor of Sammy were written on them. The young cricketers were of the view that Sammy served Pakistan and gave a message of restoration of peace in the country to the international community. The West Indies team clearly got offended and excluded him from the team. The participants of the rally demanded of the West Indies Cricket board to include Sammy in the team so he can come and play more cricket in Pakistan.
