ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2018 ) The hearing against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the Avenfield apartments reference is underway in the Accountability Court on Wednesday. According to details, the counsel for Nawaz Sharif, Khawaja Haris cross-examined witness Wajid Zia and asked if any documents exist that prove that the former prime minister owns Neilson and Nescol companies. To this Wajid responded that no such documents have been found. “I have neither submitted nor possess any document that proves Nawaz Sharif is a beneficial owner of the London flats,” Zia said. The London flats were a property of offshore companies Neilson and Nescol, he added. The references against Nawaz Sharif and his family members Maryam, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz are underway in the Accountability Court.
