The Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament futsal qualifying tournament kicks off today at Al Manarah Sports Hall, with 15 teams vying for eight tickets to the main tournament

DUBAI (Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2018 ) The Nad Al Sheba sports Tournament futsal qualifying tournament kicks off today at Al Manarah Sports Hall, with 15 teams vying for eight tickets to the main tournament. Held during the Holy Month of Ramadan under the guidance and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, the NAS Sports Tournament is the largest event of its kind in terms of prize money and the level of competition in different sport.

Being held for the sixth year this year, the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament’s futsal competition will see the top four teams from last year qualify directly for the tournament, while eight teams will join them from the qualifying, which will be held from March 21-24. The 15 teams in qualifying have been divided into four groups, with the top two from each pool qualifying for the main tournament. Shabab Al Ain, MKS, Rashid Team and Al Theyaba have been drawn in Group A, while Al Shabab Al Arabi, Al Qarasina (Pirates), Al Saada and Al Najm (stars) in Group B. Group C comprises Inthar, Al Jawareh, Dubai Team and Al Eisar (Tornado), while Al Hazm, Al Fuhud and Dubai Police will challenge for the two qualifying spots from Group D.
